Publication Policy

The Anatolian Journal of Politics and International Relations (AJPIR) is an independent, international, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal committed to publishing high-quality, original, and impactful research in the fields of political science and international relations. The journal follows internationally recognized standards of academic publishing and aims to contribute to global scholarly dialogue through rigorous editorial practices.

Scope and Content

AJPIR publishes original research articles and scholarly book reviews written exclusively in English. Submissions must demonstrate theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, and relevance to contemporary academic debates in political science and international relations.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary approaches and comparative perspectives that engage with global, regional, and national political dynamics.

Editorial Process

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, as well as their academic quality and structural coherence. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are sent to double-blind peer review by independent experts in the relevant field.

Editorial decisions are based on reviewer reports, academic merit, and overall contribution to the literature. The journal reserves the right to issue a desk rejection for manuscripts that do not meet minimum standards.

Publication Frequency

AJPIR is published biannually, with issues released in June and December.
