Publication Ethics
The Anatolian Journal of Politics and International Relations (AJPIR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices. The journal adheres to the principles and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics and expects all parties involved in the publication process — including authors, reviewers, and editors — to comply with these standards.
Ethical Principles
All manuscripts submitted to AJPIR are evaluated solely on their scholarly merit, without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, seniority, or political views. The journal follows a double-blind peer review process and ensures fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality throughout all stages of evaluation.
AJPIR maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards unethical publishing practices, including but not limited to plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication or falsification, and copyright infringement.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting to AJPIR must ensure that their work is:
- Original and unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere

Authors are required to:
- Disclose any conflicts of interest
- Obtain necessary permissions for copyrighted materials
- Ensure that research involving human participants or personal data has received ethics committee approval
- Confirm that informed consent has been obtained where applicable
All authors listed must have made a significant scholarly contribution to the work.
Responsibilities of Reviewers

- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations
- Treat manuscripts as confidential documents
- Refrain from using unpublished materials for personal or professional advantage
- Decline review assignments in cases of conflict of interest
Reviewers should focus on the scholarly merit of the work and avoid personal or inappropriate comments.

All investigations are conducted with due process and confidentiality.
